The BARRA Tech Net Christmas Eve Open Forum is a relaxed, informal net designed to give members and guests an opportunity to get on the air, check in, and take part in open discussion during the holiday week. Unlike a typical Tech Net with a scheduled presentation, this session is intentionally unstructured, allowing conversation to flow naturally based on participant interests.

Operators are encouraged to share what they have been working on, ask questions, discuss amateur radio topics, and exchange ideas related to stations, repeaters, digital modes, linking technologies, and technical projects of any kind. The open forum format welcomes operators of all experience levels, from newly licensed hams to seasoned operators, and emphasizes participation over presentation.

In addition to technical discussion, the Christmas Eve Open Forum provides a chance to connect socially, exchange holiday greetings, and enjoy the camaraderie of the BARRA community. It is a low-pressure, friendly net intended to keep members connected during the holidays while maintaining the educational and collaborative spirit of the weekly Tech Net.

All licensed amateur radio operators are welcome to participate, listen in, or simply check in and say hello.
