Good evening this is  [name, call] and I’m located in [location], welcome to the BARRA Tech and Informational Net. This net meets every Wednesday at 8:00 PM, our focus is on the technical aspects of amateur radio. Whether you’re an experienced operator, a new ham, or just curious about the technology behind our hobby, you’re in the right place.

During this net, we discuss topics such as equipment, antennas, propagation, digital modes, troubleshooting techniques, and emerging technologies in amateur radio. The goal is to share knowledge, learn from one another, and encourage experimentation and problem-solving within our community.

All licensed amateur radio operators are welcome to participate. Please keep transmissions concise and relevant to the technical topic at hand. When checking in, please give the club call W2EUP, let up on your mic and listen to insure you are not doubling then give your call sign slowly, along with your name and location.

Let’s get started by taking check-ins for the BARRA Tech Net.

Net Closing:

Before we close tonight’s session of the Barra Tech Net, I’d like to thank all [number of stations] who checked in and participated. Your comments and discussion help make this net a valuable learning experience for all of us.

A special thanks to our guest(s) and to those who shared their knowledge this evening. Remember, the Tech Net meets every Wednesday night at 8:00 PM Eastern right here on the BARRA system, and each week we feature a new technical topic for discussion.

We encourage everyone to continue experimenting, asking questions, and sharing your experiences with the amateur radio community.

This is [enter your callsign], net control for tonight’s BARRA Tech Net, now returning the WA2HKS repeater system back to normal amateur use.
